We are a music group in Turkey that performs only Ilahi songs in different styles. What is your advice for us?

Question: We are a music group in Turkey that performs only Ilahi songs in different styles. What is your advice for us?

osmanli ilahis

MashaAllah to you. Evet, continue what you are doing. If you like, try writing Ilahi songs about man separation from Allah, our separation from our Prophet, our  separation from the Khilafat, our separation from the Awliya Allah. And write about what’s causing this separation; from private individuals, internal reasons because we are in Ghaflat or we are too busy with this dunya because we are falling in love with our enemies, to something a little bit more global to say because we have left the way of the Prophet and we are looking for tribalism, nationalism, instead of being an Ummah.

So try to write, if you like, something that is going to make people to think a little bit more about what they are singing and what they are listening to. Not just for them to hear something and to feel, but let them to think. Too much feeling these days, no one is thinking. Understand? And let the songs to be a Dua, pleading Allah swt to guide this nation back, to send Hazreti Mahdi (as) back, for Hazreti Mahdi (as) to come, for the truth and justice to come again. For the Khilafat to return.  Write about how we have to be awake to our enemies, inside and out. That time your songs will mean something.

Anyone can write a  song praising Allah and the Prophet (asws), correct? But to write a song about why and how we have left the way of Allah and His Prophet, no one dares to write about that. Everyone writes about songs of being separated from your love. But  write songs about how we are separated from Allah and His Prophet and the way. And that time, people will wake up a little bit.

That’s my contribution. SelamAleykum. May Allah make it easy for you.
