Question: What is the maqam of Grandshaykh Abdullah Daghestani, if the burial grave is in Syria? Does it mean there are some relics there of Grandsheykh?
The Maqam is a station. That is what Maqam is: It is a station. According to the power of the Awliya, our Grandshaykh Abdullah, may Allah bless him, raise his station and continue to give us his support, which he is giving us his support, Alhamdulillah, we have one Maqam of Grandshaykh Abdullah here. Right over here, Upstate New York. Does it mean his physical body is buried there?
No, it doesn’t. His physical body is buried in Damascus. But we are not too interested in the physical body. We are interested in the spirit. And according to the permission and the power of that Awliya, he may have several Maqams. It doesn’t mean his body is there physically. Meaning the tajalli, the power, the spirituality, it is concentrated on certain areas. Those areas are not decided by you or me, it is decided by that Holy Majlis that they are meeting every night with the Holy Prophet (asws), 124,000 Saints, according to what is necessary. When that spot is assigned, now power continues there. There are several. Just as there are several, for example, Maqams of Uways al-Qarani.
So, not important for relics. Doesn’t matter for us. If you believe it, you believe it. If you don’t believe it, who cares. Doesn’t matter to us. But if you believe it, you will get the blessings. If you don’t believe it, the blessings will still rain down to you but you are just using your ignorance and your arrogance as an umbrella. So you are not going to get nothing. And we have one here in Sidney center in the Catskill mountain, Alhamdulillah. And there will be more Maqams to build here. People will definitely say that time, ‘look at,’ of course I’m very shy to say how they call our Sheykh, they call him Abdul Kerim. ‘Look at Abdul Kerim’s group, they have gone crazy again. They are building Maqams.’ It’s okay. Call whatever they want. We don’t care. We are going to build the Maqams because that was his words. There will be so many here. More heaviness coming. More power coming. We have to get ready. InsyaAllah. This much is enough. SelamAleykum.
