During the Ramazan time, a completely different blessing is raining down. You will know that time that during other days that you try to keep, you try to keep your daily prayers, or making intention to fast, you see how hard it is that time. But during the Ramazan time, it becomes so easy. So the Holy Prophet is saying to us, alaihi salatau wa salam, because today’s people became lazy in every way, so you have to remember that there is a big blessings in sahur. You have to get up for sahur. Even if you are going to have one date, you are going to get up for sahur, to eat sahur.
Different blessings coming during the time of the Ramazan. When you are breaking the fast, don’t just go, because you are staying hungry all day long and as soon as you break the fast, diving inside the kitchen and swallowing everything that you are finding. Go easy. Slowly. Step by step. You’ll see that slowly, that animal self is going to run away. It’s going to go away. You are going to see that it’s not really that the food that is making you to move, the spirit when it’s more strong, you are going to see that something else is going to enter into your life.
Sahaba e-Kiram, so many times they didn’t have so many things to eat. So many times they were fasting and they were breaking their fasting with one date. Because they have nothing else to eat, they were making intention to fast for next day again. Because they have nothing else to eat. So they continue in that way. Their body wasn’t like us maybe, so many, because they didn’t have so much fat but they were full with energy. When they were grabbing those kafir; two, three of them. When they have the sword in their hands, they were knocking them down, all those ones that they were in Badr war. You see what they did in every war? They were full with energy. Energy that is coming to them from Allah swt and they were doing with that passion, with the love of Allah.
So, insya’Allah, we will put some senses in our head. We will put some love in our hearts. We will put some passion in our lives that we run that way. And this way, this Ramazan will give blessings to us and we will be able to reach, we will be able to go to those people that they are really longing, running and looking. And insya’Allah ar-Rahman, we are hoping, if we are living by next year and if Mahdi (as) is not here, we are hoping that this land (at the Osmanli Dergahi) is full with the people, celebrating Ramazan. It’s full with other creatures right now, they came from so many other places, but it’s only handful of people. They are very happy about it. Insya’Allah, by next year. Sheykh Maulana knows, he will tell you. He told you that in Cyprus didn’t he? (Sheykh is asking a murid). So insya’Allah ar-Rahman, we are making intention to become better servant. That’s the whole key. SelamAleykum Warahmatullahi wabarakatu.
