Question: Will we be with our Sheykh when he returns? Will he call for us?
That’s what we are hoping for. If he returns right now, he will just ask, ‘what have you been doing since I was gone?’ as he usually asks when he travels. Do you have the right answer to give? Do you have a proper answer to give? None of you do. ‘Oh, I miss you sooooo….much! I cry every night.’ Eh, so what did you do? You just cry? All these years that I’ve left with so much work to do, with so many people to pull out, with so much support that you have to give, there’s so much work to do and all you did was to cry? This is all that we can say? You think that time he’s going to be very happy with us?
He is always calling out for us. Are we calling out to him, by our lives, by our actions, by our focus, by our lifestyle, by what we are focusing and centering in our lives everyday? If we call out to him that way, yes, definitely when he calls for us, we will be there with him. Because we are already with him. But if our relationship to our Sheykh is only to cry a little bit here and there, or a lot here and there but we are not continuing the work, we are not helping others for this work and we are not putting his sohbets into our lifestyle, then can I say Allahua’lam? I can say. ‘Oh he knows my heart. He knows I love him.’ So what? Holy Prophet (asws) loves Allah too. Did he just love Allah? Or did he sacrifice everything?
So, couple of things for us to think about, insya’Allah. SelamAleykum warahmatullahi wabarakatu.
