Question: As a female murid, how do I talk to my husband about my sheykh and the Dergah and bring him to this way?
Don’t fight and don’t argue. If he asks, try to speak from your heart, sincerely and make it easy. Say, ‘my Sheykh is available.’ Or ‘my Shyekh’s wakeel is available. You can always speak to him face to face.’ And let’s see what Allah swt has in store for him. This is not the way that we take anything from you. This is the way that we give everything. And those ones who don’t know too much or they have wrong ideas about Sheykhs and Tariqats, it’s not only that they have been badly informed but they probably have bad experience and they never met something. So if they are going to be intelligent , they are at least going to sit with us, speak with us, and understand, listen, speak, worship, eat with us, then they will know. Pray for that one InshaAllah. And we have to keep our faith strong, in these days. You never know many people are going to be saved because we are holding on to our Sheykh. This much is enough.
