Last few days of Ramazan, what are we begging our Lord for?

All praises are due to Allah, Lord of the Universes. All praises are due to Allah, the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme (59:23). All praises are due to Allah Who has sent His Habib, Sayyidina Muhammad (asws), as the Rahmatalil Alameen.

Ya Allah, bless our master Muhammad and his family, the Sea of Your lights, the Treasury of Your mysteries, the Tongue of Your proof, the Imam of Your presence, and the Seal of Your Prophets with a blessing which pleases You and him, and by which You are pleased with us, O Lord of the worlds. (Delail Khayrat). And send peace and blessings upon his blessed companions, especially upon the Four Khulafa-e-Rashideen, Hz. Abu Bakr el-Siddiq, Hz. Umar el-Faruq, Hz. Osman el-Ghani, and Hz. Ali el-Murtaza, and all those who follow them until the Last Day.

Ya Ayyuhal Mu’minoon! O Believers! Welcome to you in this Holy Day of Jummah, in the Holy Month of Ramazan. Welcome to you in the Last Jummah of Ramazan, the Jummatul Wida. This month of Ramazan that we have been hoping for and praying for all year, that we have been preparing for since the month of Rajab, it is now about to depart from us. In these few days of Ramazan that remain, we must wake up and seek the forgiveness and Mercy of our Lord. One Sahabi, Hz. Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, came to visit Rasulallah (asws) on Jummatul Wida. The Holy Prophet (asws) said to him, ‘Ya Jabir! This is the last Jummah of Ramazan. You should bid it farewell by saying: O Allah, please do not make it the last of our fasting in this month. But if that is what You decide, then please grant me Your Mercy and do not deprive me of it.’

O Believers! These are the last few days of Ramazan. And in these last few days of Ramazan, the believers we should get a little bit more serious. We planted the seeds in Rajab. We took care of them in Shaban. And in Ramazan, insha’Allah, we have been collecting the fruits of this hard work.

Now in that the last few days of Ramazan  that are here, it is not the time for us to slack. It is the time to run more, because the finishing line is just ahead of us. It is for us to catch up to whatever we have missed. Who is giving us this advice? The Greatest Helper, Sheykh Abdul Qadir Gilani (ks) is saying to us. He is saying (ks): If Ramazan does not have the effect of improving your heart—if it does not make you to stop from rebellious acts against your Lord, does not make you avoid the company of troublemakers and criminals—what else could change your heart to good? What goodness can be hoped for in a case like yours? What successful outcome can be expected from an individual like you? You had better pay attention, O miserable one, and try to learn from what has happened to you. Come to your senses, wake up from your sleep, shake off your ghaflet, and take a good hard look at what has happened to you. However little of the month you still have left, you must seize every opportunity to make tawba and ask for forgiveness. If you follow this advice, you may yet be one of those who receive the blessings of Mercy. Then, when the month of Ramazan comes to its close, you should bid it farewell crying a lot. You should weep over your unfortunate self. Because many people who fasted this year will not reach fasting again, and many people who stayed up for Tahajjud they may not reach making Tahajjud again before they die. The worker will be paid his wages, once he has finished his work, and we have now almost finished the work of Ramazan. But if only I knew for certain whether our fasting and our night prayer have been accepted, or whether they will be used to slap us in our faces!  Listen carefully: But if only I knew for certain whether our fasting and our night prayer have been accepted, or whether they will be used to slap us in our faces! If only I knew for certain which of us has been accepted, so that we may congratulate him, and which of us has been rejected, so that we may offer him our condolences!

Because Rasulallah (asws) has said: There are many who fast all day but they get nothing except hunger and thirst. And there are many who stay up all night in prayer but they get nothing but sleeplessness. And the words of the Prophet and the words of Ghawth al-Azam speak the truth.

This is the reality in front of us. And these Jelali words are coming to us from Ghawth al-Azam. There are a few precious days of Ramazan that remain. This is not the time to rest. This is the time to wake up and run more to the Pleasure of Allah and His Prophet. And our Lord, Allah (swt), yes He is  is Rahman and Rahim. And through His Mercy, He has sent a night unlike any other night in this Month. And many of the high level Sahabis and Evliyaullah, they are saying that heavily that night is falling in the Last Ten nights of Ramazan, and within that, in the seventh of the last ten nights.

O Believers! O Believers who are looking for Laylatul Qadr. Tonight, insyaAllah ar-Rahman, we will enter into the 27th night of the Holy Month of Ramazan. Laylatul Qadr is not a normal night. Holy Prophet (asws) is saying: Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramazan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever spends the night of Laylatul Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will also be forgiven. And Hz. Abdul Qadir Gilani is explaining from the words of Rasulallah (asws) what happens in the heavens and earth in this night, saying: When the Laylatul Qadr comes around, there will not be a single spot on earth that does not have an angel upon it, either bowing down in prostration, or standing straight, as he offers prayers of supplication on behalf of the believers. As for Jibril (as), he will not leave any believer, without giving them the greeting of peace and shaking his hand.

To each and every one of them, he will say: “If you are in a state of worshipful obedience, SelamAleykum, in the form of the approval and favor you deserve! If you are in a state of sinful disobedience, SelamAleykum, in the form of forgiveness! If you are in a state of sleep, SelamAleykum, in the form of contentment! If you are in the grave or tomb, SelamAleykum you, in the form of refreshment and sweet perfume!

So yes, these are the nights that we have reached to. We have reached to the best nights of the whole year. But what are Muslims doing? What are Muslims from east to west, north to south, doing in the last ten days of Ramazan? Are they running to show more respect of the Sultan of the Months in its last ten days? Are they thinking, maybe I am going to die after this Ramazan and not reach to the next one, so let me work harder to make my Allah happy with me? Are they pushing themselves and searching for Laylatul Qadr, hoping to gain the blessing of a lifetime of worship? Or are we shopping? Or are we eating? Or are they just counting the days until Ramazan ends, in a hurry to kick him out of our lives, so that they can celebrate Eid and jump into a feast like animals. We know what the reality is. We know what we are doing. We know what whole nations and countries are doing and which directions they are taking in this Ramazan.

laylatul qadar

This  Ummat-i-Muhammed has become sick with the love of dunya in Ramazan. We have become sick with the love of our nafs in Ramazan. We have become sick with the love of our desires in this month of Ramazan, sheytan is locked up but we have become sick with our ego. And sheytan had planted the seeds of disobedience  in our ego before he left. And now the ego of the disobedient ones are just collecting the fruits in the month of Ramazan. Now the enemies of Islam inside Islam and outside of Islam have used Ramazan as a way to make us to sink deeper into dunya, deeper into our ego. The Holy Prophet (asws) is saying, ‘My nation in the ahir zaman they will follow the Christians and the Jews, step by step. Even if they fall into the hole of the animal, my nation will follow through.’ We are seeing that. Just like the Christians run after Christmas, majority for shopping and eating and satisfying their ego, the same way the Muslims now are using Ramazan as a means to satisfy their egos. In the month where we are supposed to pull back, we are sinking deeper. So instead of Ramazan being a time for purifying ourselves and fighting our ego, we are chasing after the dunya like animals. This is exactly what the Holy Prophet (asws) is saying, ‘like animal,’ because he said (asws), ‘This dunya is a carcass, and the ones who chase it are dogs.’

O Believers! Just like Ramazan has passed us so quickly, one day our life is going to pass us. And Allah (swt) is going to raise us on the Day of Judgment, and He is going to ask us what we did. And nobody can lie on that day. What face would have to show on that day if we have to say, Ya Rabbi, in the last ten days of Ramazan, when You send the Laylatul Qadr, when You are increasing Your Mercy and forgiveness, I was chasing after dunya and satisfying my ego. May Allah (swt) protect us from that disaster. And the only safety from this lying dunya is to be in the Company of those who remember Allah. Rasulallah (asws) is saying,’The whole of this world is cursed and cursed is all it contains except the remembrance of Allah and what is connected to it.’ We must connect ourselves to the one that is connected to the Remembrance of Allah. Insha’Allah we are connecting ourselves to our Sheykh, to be free from the curse of dunya.

Why are those connected to the remembrance of Allah freeing us from the curse of this dunya? Because they are not believing the in lies of this dunya. They have turned their back on this dunya and turned to Mawla. And they are always standing for Truth. Our Sheykh, Sahib el-Sayf Sheykh Abdul Kerim el-Kibrisi el-Rabbani, he stands for Truth. He defends the Truth. He is a Hakkani. As his Sheykh, Sultan el-Evliya is saying, he was one man standing for Truth like a dragon against the kufr of this dunya in the ahir zaman. We who are following him must stand like him. To commemorate his Urs, is to commemorate his life, not his death, not his passing. It is to take his work and what he stood up for and to put it in our lives. But today’s scholars, today’s so called sheykhs, they are selling the truth and they are buying batil in return. Tricking the Muslims, telling them that Hakk is batil and that batil is Hakk. Exactly what the dajjal is doing. This is the time of dejjal. And the Ummat is sinking into it.

O Believers! Last few days of Ramazan, what are we begging our Lord for?

So many are only begging for themselves. So many are only saying, ‘Ya Rabbi, help me in my dunya and my desires. Help me and my kids and my parents only. Ya Rabbi, help my business. Ya Rabbi, give me good health. That’s it. Because the Muslims of today we have lost our vision. We have became selfish. We are not thinking and praying and changing the condition that the Ummat is suffering under, that we are  being crushed under tyranny, that we are being crushed under the tyrants and we are being crushed under the system of dajjal. Majority are not even speaking about this system of dajjal. Majority are saying, ‘this is still a good time. Dajjal is going to come thousands of years later. Some are saying this is the time of Mahdi.

O Osmanli Naksibendis! What are we praying for in these last few nights of Ramazan? We have to look at what our Sheykh is busy with and concentrating on. And he is concentrating on showing us know that we are in the time of Dajjal. Because if we don’t know what danger we are in, we cannot save ourselves. Seyh Efendi is saying: There is nothing left for the big Dajjal to come out. And I am seeing so many running after the dajjals. Eh, run. You are free to go anywhere. Run anywhere. But you are only running away from Hakk to Batil. Nothing else. And dajjals are waiting to put the chains around the necks and later you may be sorry but sometimes the last sorry is not enough. And Sheytan will drag those ones with him into Jahannam. We are Defenders of the Truth. The Hakkanis. Defenders of the Truth. Not only through the name. Not only through this small area. Anywhere we are walking on top of this earth, we are defending the Truth. Anyone who is saying other than that, they must be agents of Sheytan. In my position I am a weak servant. But as our Sheykh is saying, with Allah (swt) I can be the most strong one. But no need for me to be the strong one because Sheykh Mevlana is on top of everything, Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen. All those who are going to run and become helpers to Sheytan and dajjals, welcome. Run right now if you want. If there’s not one person left around, don’t think that my attitude is going to change. It’s not.

It’s not going to change because we are defending the Truth and against sheytans and dajjals it’s going to become more strong, more powerful. Never is it going to become weaker. We may not be able to carry this until the end. Whatever Allah (swt) has granted to us in this life, inshaAllah ar-Rahman we are going to spend it until the last breath and no man on the face of earth, no sheytans, no dajjals and no governments are going to be able to put any fear in us because we are holding tightly to Allah, to His Prophet (asws), to His Awliya. And the words of our Sheykh, they speak the truth.

O Believers! O Murids! In these last nights, we have to run to ask, we have to run to make the intention, we have to run to be firm and to promise to continue the work of our Sheykh. To be safe from the confusion of dejjal. To be defending the Truth, to be standing for Hakk. That time, insha’AllahurRahman, we will be the candidates to be with that one who is coming to save this Ummat, to be with Hz. Mehdi (as).

O Believers! Take care of these last moments of Ramazan. We may not reach to next Ramazan. We should make our Lord, our Prophet, our Sheykh, happy with us in these days that we are given the breath of life.

We are ending with Seyh Efendi’s words. He is saying: Too sad, they should be too sad, those ones who have destroyed this whole month of Ramazan. They didn’t show the proper respect. They didn’t take care of it. Who did it, they should be very happy. Who kept the Ramazan properly, with proper respect, giving their respect to Allah and His Prophet (sws), they should be happy. They should be happy now and they are going to be happy on the Judgement Day, beyond that too. Alhamdulillah.
