Question: There are so many people in Muslim countries getting killed. Is this a punishment for betraying the Sultan?

That is not true. There Is also lots of people in Non-Muslim countries, they are getting killed everyday too. This is not a punishment for betraying Sultan Abdul Hamid Han. This is because of what we did to Sultan Abdul Aziz Jannat Mekan. This whole world is suffering, this bloodshed is happening, because of what we did to betray Sultan Abdul Aziz. Sheykh Efendi is saying, Evliya’Allah are saying, ‘wait to see what is going to happen when the revenge of Sultan Abdul Hamid Han comes to this world.’ This is not the worst. We are preparing for the worst. The worst is coming. Don’t have tyranny in your hearts. This is why we are saying, ‘watch out for this one, watch out for this one, watch out for this one,’ because if you don’t and you say, ‘It’s okay,’ you are sympathetic to it, you have tyranny. You are one of them. You’re praying, you’re making Zikr, you’re doing everything, but you say, ‘It’s okay,’ then you are one of them. And, that fire that is there for them, a piece is going to reach to you.

Like what Sheykh Efendi is saying, ‘don’t worry about the innocent ones. The innocent ones, those ones, they don’t like this world anyway.’ And, you can see that their faith never left them. They are suffering and they are dying, but their faith never left them. Our faith left us. When we don’t get something, our faith left us. When we want something and we don’t get it, our faith has already left our hearts. When we put the love of the Dunya in our hearts, it’s finished. They don’t have any Dunya. What love of Dunya do they have? They are looking for justice. Like what Sheykh Efendi is saying, ‘their eyes are open. Their eyes are white. Their eyes are saying, ‘I am alive and I am with the living.“ Because those ones, of course they are Shahids. And only the Shahids, they are alive. Correct? Those are not the ones who are dead. We are dead. You and me.

Looking at that, if we don’t take lesson from it, if we are not trying to change our way, change our thinking, change our behavior, if we are continuing to be proud and arrogant, if we are continuing to be hypocrites, if we are continuing just to look at each other’s mistakes, then Prophet (AS) is saying ‘If you see a mistake on your brother, make seventy excuses for them.’ These days, there’s nothing there and you put something there. You have hypocrisy. Be open, be clear, and be careful from the vision of a Believer, because he looks with the Nur of Allah.

We are not anything. We are no ones. We are here on top of a mountain to say, ‘leave us alone. We want to just stay here and worship.’ People are finding us. But, we should not be finding tyranny. Do you understand? We should worry about ourselves to see, Is our ‘La ilaha Illa’Allah Muhammadar’Rasulullah,’ is that going to pass or not? The more that you are leaning against to your Sheykh, more you are holding onto your Sheykh, we are not trusting and we are not relying on our Ibadat, on our Amal, or anything. We are relying on the intercession of our Sheykh. That is all. Finished. I’m not even trusting my own Shahadat. I trust in the Shahadat of my Sheykh, and he is leaning against the Shahadat of his Sheykh, and it continues. That is the strong chain there. You hook yourself to the chain, you will be okay. Insha’Allah. Wa min Allah Tawfik, el-Fatiha.
