I deviated from the right path, how can I find the power to go back to the right path?

BismillahirRahmanirRahim

Question: I deviated from the right path, now I am trying according to my understanding to come back. Before I deviate back to the wrong path again, what is the right thing for me to do? How can I find the power to go back to the right path?

Like I said, you were healthy before, then you get sick and you want to be healthy again. You say, ‘before I get even more sick what do I need to do?’ First you need to go see a doctor. The doctor is going to say ‘you are doing these things. That’s why you are sick. Stop doing these things. Then you must do these things. This is the medicine, these things you must do.’ Then, depending on how serious you are he may even say, ‘for this time, don’t even speak to no one, you are going to pack up your bags and you are going to go to the hospital. No one can come to see you anytime that you want,’ correct or no?

Now, if you have a certain disease of the spirit it is like that too. But people are crazy. They are going to think, ‘what is this, I can’t speak to anyone?’ And the Sheykh says, ‘no need. You are under this, no need to talk to too many people.’ ‘What is this, a cult? You are telling me I cannot speak to no one? No one can come and see me?’ ‘They may pass the disease to you.’ ‘No, I don’t believe this.’ But you believe when the doctor tells you, ‘you now, you are in quarantine. Now you are in intensive care, now, you are in this ward, no one can come anytime that they want. You are going to be visited by the doctor five times a day.’

So, the power to go back, first you have to find that power from someone who has that power, if you are going to say ‘the power is coming from me’ it’s going to be difficult, and Allah will send help. Understand that He’s sending help, sending someone. So that one, when the rope comes, you have to hold on to it. You cannot say, ‘no. It has to come from me.’ Breh, where is it coming from you, the rope is going to come from you? You have dug yourself into a hole. Now a rope is being sent to you, Allah is sending something to you and you are so proud to say ‘no, I’m not going to take it’? Don’t. You’re going to sink further. It’s going to be very bad for you.

So find the ones who have the power. Hang out with the ones who have an ID. Be with those who ask you no fee and they themselves are rightly guided. They are not asking anything. They are on the straight path; they know how to walk on the path back and forth because they have been doing that and they say, ‘you are interested, come, because the way it is very dangerous but I know the way.’ If they say, ‘give me something before you pass,’ don’t follow that one. That is holy command from Allah (SWT). In fact there is a hadiths from the Prophet (asws), ‘Allah is hating those who block roads and they ask for money to pass.’ I mean, the hadiths is very heavy, I don’t want to say it, people are going to misunderstand, you know?

So once you start doing that, you feel some strength coming to you. But you cannot be stubborn to that one. You cannot be stubborn to the doctor. You cannot be stubborn to the nurses. You start doing that, you get more sick. As you like, InsyaAllah. May Allah make it easy for you. AlFatiha. Amin. Selam Aleykum wa rahmatullah.
