All praises are due to Allah, Lord of the Universes. All praises are due to Allah Who created the Heavens and the Earth and all that is between them. All praises are due to Allah Who has set forth signs in the creation for the People of Understanding. Allah (SWT) is saying in the Holy Quran: BismillahirRahmanirRahim. Surely Allah commands to justice and doing good and giving to kinsmen; and He forbids indecency, dishonor, and rebellion, advising you, so that maybe you will remember. Sadaqallahul Azim. (16:90).
May all peace and blessings be upon the Sultan of Creation, the Imam of the Messengers, the Master of the First and the Last, the Beloved of the Lord of the Two Easts and the Two Wests, the Grandfather of Hasan and Huseyin, Sayyidina Muhammad (AS). And may peace and blessings be upon his noble family and blessed companions, especially upon the Four Khulafa-e-Rashideen, Hz Abu Bakr el-Siddiq, Hz Umar el-Faruq, Hz Osman el-Ghani, and Hz Ali el-Murtaza, and all those who follow them until the Last Day.
Ya Ayyhuan-Naas! O Mankind! We have been created to be the Khalifa of Allah (SWT), but we have become the slaves of sheytan. Our disobedience and rebellion has brought down the anger of our Lord, and we are on the edge of His Punishment being sent to this world. Yes, today is Eid el-Fitr- but those who are in open defiance to Malik-i-Yawmi-Deen cannot be in a drunken state of happiness. Today must be a day of begging for Mercy and asking for Tawba from Allah Jalla wa’Aala. Mankind is asking what has happened to the world. Why is there no peace? Why have the basic rules of society, they have just been kicked away? Why has justice disappeared and been replaced with tyranny? Allah (SWT) has given us the answer in His Eternal Words, saying: BismillahirRahmanirRahim. Whatever good (O man!), happens to you, is from Allah; and whatever evil happens to you, is from your (own) self. And We have sent you (ya Muhammad (AS)) as a messenger to (instruct) mankind. And Allah is enough as a witness. Sadaqallahul Azim. (4:79).
Whatever calamities are raining upon the earth today, we are responsible for it. But 21st century mankind, ignorant and arrogant ones, we cannot accept this, because we do not take any responsibility. Instead we blame Allah. We say, “how can God be so cruel? How can God allow evil on the earth?” It is they themselves who are evil and they blame Allah for their own disobedience. This is the philosophy of sheytan. The revelation of Rahman tells us something completely different. Hz. Hasan (RA) is saying that Holy Prophet (AS) told him, “By Him in whose control is my life! Any scratch, twitching of the veins, slipping of the foot, or a flying stone hitting the body suddenly, they are all due to the committing of sins.” (Bayhaqi). Hz. Asmaa binti Abu Bakr (RA) even said once after having a headache, “This is because of my sins.” (Durr al-Manthur). Today’s mankind will say, “we do not commit any sins. Sin? Don’t even say that. It is a bad word. We are perfect. We believe in humanism. We believe in secularism. We believe in Darwinism. We believe in Capitalism. We believe in liberalism. We believe in any ism that we are making. We are the most advanced civilization to ever walk on the earth. But we are liars and we are deaf, dumb and blind,” Because Allah (SWT) has described those ones in the Kuran-i-Kerim, saying: BismillahirRahmanirRahim. “And when it is said to them: ‘do not make corruption in the earth,’ they say, ‘Why, we only want to make peace!’- Without doubt, they are the corrupt, but they do not realize it.” Sadaqallahul Azim. (2:11-12).
Today’s mankind, we have become completely corrupt. Once upon a time, we could say that only one nation was corrupt, or that only one government was corrupt, or only that one group was corrupt. Today, fitnah has engulfed the whole of mankind. Step by step, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists, all of us are walking into the traps of sheytan and dajjal and becoming their agents. Step by step mankind is bringing to a fulfillment the prophesies of Sayyidina Muhammad (AS). Because we see that the depths of problems in this world is caused by nothing other than the disobedience of mankind to their Lord and to their Sustainer. Today’s mankind has become disobedient in a way that the earlier nations they could not even imagine. Holy Prophet (AS) told us about this 1400 years ago when he said, “When my Ummat does fifteen things, the fitnah will occur in it— when the spoils of war are distributed by favoritism, when trusts are broken, when zakat is treated like a fine, when a man obeys his wife and disobeys his mother, and is kind to his friend and abandons his father, when voices are raised in the masjids, when the leader of the people is the most despicable of them, when the man (who is considered) the most honored is the one whose evil the people are afraid of, when intoxicants are drunk, when silk is worn, when there is an obsession for singing slave-girls and music, when the end of this Ummat will curse its beginning. When that happens, then let them wait for a red wind, or the earth to swallow them, or to be transformed into animals.” (Tirmidhi).
And the Prophet of Allah speaks the truth. And in another Hadith he (AS) said: “The nation that is involved in mishandling of trusts, Allah will fill their hearts with terror for their enemies. The nation that is engaged in zina will experience great numbers of death. The nation that cheats in the scales will have their rizq decreased. The nation that makes laws against truth and justice will experience great justice. And the nation that breaks its contracts will be overpowered by the enemy.” (Mishkat).
What we are reading in these Hadiths is describing today’s Muslims. Muslims of the Ahir Zaman, cheating each other has become a norm. It is another name for doing business. The rich Muslims of Ahir Zaman eat the food that is the right of the orphans who are starving. The Muslims of Ahir Zaman, the scholars of Ahir Zaman, curse and slander the Sahaba-e-Kiram. They curse to Hz. Amir Muawiya. Someone once asked Hz Ibn al-Mubarak, who is better, Amir Muawiyah or Umar ibn Abdul Aziz who came after him and one was of the most righteous Sultans. He replied, “the dust in the nose of Amir
Muawiyah’s horse when he was in the sohbet of Rasulallah is better than Umar ibn Abdul Aziz.” Yet today’s scholars have a tongue to criticize him. Today’s Muslims try to cheat Allah and His Prophet by trying to change this religion. Look what today’s Muslims did to Ramadan. We are trying to ruin it. They took a month that is meant to be nothing but spirituality, that is meant to lock the ego and sheytan, and we have turned it into a mockery. They have Ramadan sales and Ramadan soap operas and Ramadan giveaways and Ramadan talk shows. They introduced consumerism and capitalism into Ramadan, so that now so-called scholars come onto the TV like salesmen giving Ramadan speeches while charging a fee to listen to Knowledge. The Ramadan that was kept holy by generations of Muslims has been corrupted by this generation of Ahir Zaman. Hz. Hudayfah ibn al-Yamaan, who was the secretkeeper of Rasulallah (AS), described this
generation when he said: “How will you be (in the end of times) when you open up your religion like the woman who opens her legs to offer herself, not stopping anyone from coming to her?” Astarghfirullahal azim wa atubu ilaih. May Allah save us from being in this category.
And yes, the biggest thing, today’s Muslims, we have become tyrants. Tyranny is not just for kings and prime ministers or people who have power. Even the simple man inside his
house can be a tyrant if he oppresses those who have been put in his care. If we are tyrants in our own houses, in our own communities, then what would we become if we were to have real power in our hands? And it is tyranny that brings the greatest curse of Allah (SWT). Hz. Sufyan el-Thawri (RA) is narrating that once the Bani Israil had a severe famine for seven years until they started to eat the meat of dead animals and even humans. Finally they stood on the mountain tops and cried, they cried to Allah. Allah (SWT) revealed to one of their Prophets that if they raised their hands into the sky itself and had their tongues dried out, He would not accept their duas until they returned the rights of those they oppressed. Are we wondering why our duas are not accepted?
We have become tyrants. Not just against our fellow human-beings. We have become tyrants against Allah, against His Prophet, against their Friends. We have become tyrants to the ones who are the Real Sultans of this world and the next. And because of this disobedience, Allah (SWT)’s Anger is showing itself in the world. He (SWT) is saying in
a Hadith Qudsi: “I am Allah, there is no king besides Me- I am King of kings, the hearts of
kings are in my control. When My servants obey Me, then I fill their king’s hearts with
softness and mercy. When My servants disobey Me, then I fill their kings hearts with
vengeance and hatred towards them, so then the kings harm and punish them, Do not busy yourself in cursing them, rather remember Allah and make yourselves humble, I will be enough for you against those kings.” (Tabarani).
Holy Prophet (AS) will reject those from his Ummat who fall into this category of tyranny. He is saying (AS): ‘Listen! Have you heard that after me there will leaders, whoever goes to them and helps them in lying, and supports them in their oppression, then he is not from me and I am not from him. Whoever help these leaders in their lying and supports them in their oppression, he is not from me and I am not from him and he shall not drink with me from the Pool of Hawd. And whoever stays away from them, and does not help them in their zulm and does not support their lies, then he is from me, and I am from him, and he shall drink with me at the pool.” (Tirmidhi). Understand that the Master of Intercession is rejecting those ones who are supporting tyrants.
So what we are seeing in this world today, the cruelty and the zulm, it is nothing other than the consequence of our collective rebellion against the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. This was not always the case. Our grandfathers, our forefathers, majority, compared to today all of them, they were obedient and in submission to Allah and His Representatives. And through that obedience, everything in creation was obedient to
them. Allah (SWT) gave honor to the Believers as long as they gave Honor to Him. This is the Promise of Allah. He has said, BismillahirRahmanirRahim. “Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [because] they serve Me, not associating anything with Me. And whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient.” Sadaqallahul Azim. (24:55).
This promise was fulfilled to Ehli Badr. This promise was fulfilled to those who opened Makkah. This promise was fulfilled to the Khulafa-e-Rashideen who expanded the borders of Islam from Europe to Indonesia. This promise was fulfilled to the Seljuqs who sacrificed themselves to protect the Lands of Islam from the crusaders and their allies. This promise was fulfilled to Hz Osman Ghazi and his children, who became the Protectors of the Religion and the Defenders of the Sunnah. Today, that promise is waiting to be fulfilled. Allah is waiting for a people who are going to rise up, so that He can fulfill His Promise to them. The pens of the Divine History books are waiting to write the names of those who stood up for Hakk in this time. The first step is for us to at least stand up for Hakk inside of ourselves. To make struggle against to our egos, to leave out selfish comfort, and to make a promise to live for Allah. At least if we do that, then the Help of Allah will come.
Our Sheykh, Sahib el-Sayf Sheykh Abdul Kerim el-Kibrisi el-Rabbani (KS) is saying: “Wake up! We must wake up to our own selves. The first thing is we have to live Islam on ourselves. Then we have to run after rising Islam up. Islam is up. We have to put the support underneath. Today’s Muslims, no, they are not doing it because they are running to live for themselves. But they are not even living for themselves, let alone Islam. Those people lived for Islam. They left everything, they left their children, their families, whatever they owned, they left it when they were going for the sake of Allah. They didn’t make plans for turning back. They made plans thinking, ‘I will become a martyr in this war.’ That’s how they went. O Muslims! Check yourselves. Don’t wait for me to say anything to you. Check your own selves and you will find out with this tester whether we are standing up, where we are standing and stop fooling your own selves. We should stop fooling our own selves. Islam is going to take over, but the Muslims, if they are heedless then Allah is not in need of us. He says, ‘I will create new nations and I will give to them.’ As He did. When we became heedless He took it from us and He gave the power to other nations. If they wake up, they wake up. If they don’t then He will take it from them and He will give it to other nations.
This is going to rise. It is the Holy Prophet’s order. It is going to come up. It is impossible to go down. We have to look what we are doing in it, how we are preparing ourselves and how we are making ourselves ready in that way. Not to be heedless twenty-four hours. Everyone is waiting for Mahdi (AS). But twenty-four hours people are heedless. Do you think when Mahdi is coming he is going to come to tell us, ‘Oh your Highness, I am here. You want to join me? You want to help my work?’ If that is what you are thinking then you are going to think until Judgment Day. You are going to think until Azrail is coming and you are going to find yourself on the opposite side when Mahdi is coming. Heedlessness is not accepted for believers. The believers cannot be heedless all the time. From time to time Sheytan may fool but you have to wake up to yourself. If necessary you have to punch yourself, you have to punish your own self to wake up from that heedlessness. It doesn’t matter what is your age, it doesn’t matter how tired you are, you have to be in an awakening station.”
O Muslims! O Ummat-i-Muhammed! We have slept for too long. We have disobeyed Allah for too long. We have rebelled against His Prophet for too long. We have rejected the Friends of Allah for too long. The lifespan of this world is finishing, and the events of the End of Times they are happening right before our eyes. White is becoming black and black is becoming white. The haziness of the confusion of dajjal has spread everywhere, and has overtaken people’s ability to see what is Truth and what is false. It is time to wake up.
In this Day of Eid, in this Day of Jummah, let us at least come together and say, Ya Rabbi, we are intending to be Your servants. We are intending to live for You and to die for You. We are intending to fulfill the job of Khalifa that You have given to us. We are intending to stand up as Hakkanis. We are asking with the words of the Rehber of the Hakkanis, Seyh Mevlana Muhammad Nazim Adil el-Hakkani, praying: “May our goodness be abundant! May evil come down! May goodness come about! O our Lord, may You grant us success for the service we give in Your way. You know! You know Ya Rabbi! We are hoping that goodness grows and evil is defeated. Our job is to bring down evil and uphold goodness. This is our job: to bring about goodness, everywhere. May we bring evil down wherever we find it. This is our job: to bring down evil, bring about goodness, uphold the Orders of Rabbul-Izzat. To not allow any evil on Earth, to bring evil down, this is our job. May Janab Allah give us strength!” Amin.
