If you don’t flush your system before coming, how are you preparing for Thursday night zikr? Is there any preparation? Any preparation? Any preparation for Jumma? Or you become like wahabbis also, our mind is somewhere else, this one is just interruptions, so in and out like a thief, hmm? Or are you preparing? Are you preparing to say, ‘now, from this time until this time, this dunya is out, now I’m going to concentrate. I’m going to make some zikr. I’m going to take a ghusl, I’m going to wear the clothes. Once I put on this clothes I cannot think about these things.’ That sheytan device that you have in your hand, not necessary. Not necessary. Put that aside. Hold your tasbih. Mureeds are holding cellphones more than their tasbih. I will start banning it at the dergah. Because you don’t know how to stop. You look at this, you look at this and then you look at this. What is this?
You have to, before you come, you have to prepare. How are you preparing? Are you looking forward? You only prepare for something that you like to do. You’re preparing because you’re looking forward, especially for the men. Or is it Thursday night time, ‘ahh…it’s here again!’ A believer? Are you fighting? Once you understand that ‘there are things that I have to leave behind and I have to clean myself,’ then you have to say, ‘what am I dirty from?’ Then you are not going to bring that kind of dirtiness here. Because maybe your work it’s always, ‘someone say, I have to say ten words. Someone say one word, I have to say ten. Someone say ten words, I have to say a hundred.’ And I’ve said, don’t take that dunya here. Don’t take that dunya to speak like a believer like that, it’s no good. But if you are preparing yourself, you know preparing means ‘I have to clean. Clean means, I know what is dirty. I should not be taking those dirty things.’ You check. You have a checklist. ‘I’m dirty like this, like this, like this. I’m wrong like this. I’m going to make sure that I don’t bring it here.’ And you are remembering it. And then when you are reminded, you don’t fight back, you don’t become more stubborn. Otherwise, everyday is just going to be the same. For a believer, if everyday is the same then you lose.
Once a week, you must make a difference. That time, you want the things in your life to make a difference, there will come, it will come. There will be a difference. If you are not putting that priority, then that time, no. Everything you have is not going to give you any satisfaction. Just frustration is going to come to you. That means you’re still very childish. Child cannot control himself. You haven’t entered yet into an adult. An adult, that’s why I say, how do you know? Hit yourself. Because every time that people are doing that, there is a damage that is done, there is a hurt, there is a pain. But you don’t feel it because someone else is taking it. As a child, it’s okay. When you get older, no. No one is going to carry it for you. It shouldn’t be.
Insya’Allah, step by step. Wake up. Don’t go step by step anymore. Don’t you see where our Sheykh is leading us, is it step by step? Is it? Is it step by step now? Breh, you guys are not scared? I’m shivering. But what are you stuck with? Are you looking to that or are you looking to other things. Wake up a little bit. For you and for me. WaminAllahu Taufik. Al-fatiha.
