How do I stop being angry with someone in my head when they didn’t even do anything to me?

Question: How do I stop being angry with someone in my head when they didn’t even do anything to me?

Smack yourself. Everytime you get upset, smack yourself. They didn’t do anything, say now I’m going to do something to myself. Hmm, first you have to know there is a sheytan playing games with you. Now either you are going to play with sheytan or you are going to stop playing. If you decide that you want to stop playing with sheytan, then you are going to go to those ones.We are going to tell you to do certain things, to recite certain things, to be around certain people, to serve, and that time slowly the anger is going to go away.

Do you know how to break the backbone of sheytan in that situation? Let me just assume that this person that you know this person, this person is reachable, maybe your friend, maybe your relative or something, maybe a murid. You know how to break the backbone of sheytan in this situation? Go buy a gift and go to that person and give that person the present. Give that person a hug and ask that person, please pray for me. That time you can break the backbone of sheytan. Otherwise, it will just be putting the waswas and you are just going to circle it around and around and around your head. But look deep down inside. You may say the person doesn’t, the person didn’t do anything to you, then try to understand why are you angry then if the person didn’t do anything? Why are you upset? You cannot get upset over nothing. You must be getting upset over something. If it’s not this person there is something in you that you are upset about. You are just using this person as an excuse.

So many people they are upset because they are jealous. In reality, they are jealous. Because someone is better. Someone looks better, someone is loved by someone. Some people they are even very jealous because some people they are more beloved to Allah. So much in history is showing us that. Some people, some nation, they want to kill their own Prophet because they are jealous, Allah loves them better. So stop all this. We need to step on our ego with this. Try to understand where is this coming from. Speak. That time, that is tafakkur. Sit down and understand. No way you are going to get out of this, then stop it. Go to that person, like I said, give that person a present. Be a friend with that person. Then that time, slowly it’s going to go away. This much is enough. WaminAllahu Taufiq, al-Fatiha. selamAleykum.
