Nawaitul arbain, nawaitul uzla, Nawaitu Khlawa, Nawaitu riada, nawaitu suluk. Hasbinallah wa ni’mal wakeel. We are asking permission from our Sheykh, Sahibul Saif Sheykh Abdul Kerim el-Kibrisi, insyaAllah to send us something that is going to benefit us, for you and me, for today. Not only for today, for all our lives.
Islam. Islam is coming with the Shahadat. The Shahadat is coming with obligations. You must carry the obligations with intelligence and you must carry the obligations with the love. If you don’t carry the obligations with intelligence, you are not going to be able to be a good one and the mu’min must be intelligent. Because Allah is addressing those who have intelligence in the Quran e-Kerim.
Intelligence doesn’t mean you go to high university, that you read too many books. Intelligent one is the one who thinks and he puts two and two together and he doesn’t have the need for anyone to tell him too much, but he understands. If you only have the love and you don’t have the intelligence, one day that love is going to leave too. Oh, so many people they say to us, ‘we love you. We love you. We love you.’ Later, some squeezed things happened to them and they say the worst things that you cannot imagine, to us. So, if you only have intelligence without love, it is no good. If you have love without the intelligence it is no good as well.
The shahadat is the most important thing in our lives that we must hold on and we must keep and we must protect. Our faith is in need of protection because it is always being attacked by this dunya, it is always being attacked by sheytan, it is always being attacked by our desires and it’s always being attacked by our nafs. Run to places, run to people, run to situations where there is going to be protections and they will teach you how to fight back. Not to fight, but to fight back, just to put the enemies far away from you so that you can keep practicing what you are believing in. This is a ni’mat to us that we are reaching in these last days, these most confusing and dark days in every way. What Sheykh Effendi would say if he was here? What he would say if he just come through the door, what I have to tell him. Whatever that you are saying, it came and more that you cannot even imagine, Seyhim. You put us through this. It’s heavy but at the same time it is a big honor for us to be able to carry our faith, on top of this mountain, in these dark days, in these ahir zaman.
Carry your faith. Protect your faith. This dunya is not worth it. Your friends are not worth it. Your parents, your beloved ones, nothing is worth your faith. Do not sacrifice your faith for any of this or else you are going to regret dunya and ahiret. For you and for me. May Allah forgive me, bless you and raise the station of our Sheykh. Al-Fatiha.
